We were recently called to this house in West Reading to see if we can do anything which will help them sell their house which was on the market for 6 months with lots of viewings but no offers.
The house itself was in good condition but it needed decluttering, some painting and decorating and a few other things had to be addressed such as broken floorboards and loose electric cables.
We painted this kitchen and replaced all the rotten beading with UPVC patterned beading which matches existing worktops. A few other walls had a quick coat of paint where the client’s children practised their drawing skills. Loose cables were neatly tucked away and secured with cable clips. We also removed a grubby old carpet from their hallway and laid down laminate flooring.
We also offered to paint kitchen cabinet doors and drawers – they wanted to replace all the doors but we couldn’t find ready-made doors with those dimensions anywhere and to have them custom made would cost too much so that part of work never materialised.
They sold the house a few weeks later – We hope it’s because of our handy work.
