Emergency boarding up and security light installation after a failed break-in in Kennet Island, Reading.

The property owner who is our regular customer called us and asked us if we could pop round and help his tenants. His tenants got home just as the would-be burglars entered their house. They escaped with nothing valuable but managed to get a set of spare keys so as a security precaution we changed all the locks as well. As a possible deterrent, we installed 1 extra lock on the back gate door and a motion sensor security light.

Police did come out eventually but so far no one has been caught.

Always lock your doors and windows before leaving for work and keep keys away from windows and doors. In this particular case, burglars smashed the glass and unlocked the door because the key was left in the lock inside.
